Returns and Exchange Policy
At Red Clay Dahlias, our merchandise and hard goods are produced in small batches and many items are made to order. We take care in what we create, and we ask that you review this policy before purchasing so expectations are clear on both sides. Made-to-Order & Final Sale
Because most of our merchandise is printed to order or produced in limited runs, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges for sizing issues, preference changes, or buyer’s remorse.
If There’s a Problem With Your Order
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please reach out to us within 5 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the issues and/or damaged or defective items
Once reviewed, we’ll make it right by offering a replacement or store credit, depending on the situation. Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Apparel (DTF Shirts, Hoodies, etc.)
- We do not accept returns or exchanges for incorrect sizing.
- Please carefully review sizing charts before ordering.
- Approved claims require items to be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
DTF printing may show slight variations in color or texture due to fabric type, batch differences, or press settings. These natural variations are part of the process and do not qualify as defects.
Drinkware & Hard Goods (Tumblers, Cups, etc.)
- Minor variations in color, finish, or logo placement are normal with small-batch production.
- These variations do not qualify as defects.
- Damage caused after delivery (drops, misuse, or improper care) is not covered.
Custom or Personalized Items
All custom or personalized items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless they arrive defective.
Shipping & Delivery
- Once your order leaves our hands, it is in the care of the shipping carrier.
- Red Clay Dahlias is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or carrier-related damage.
- Please double-check your shipping address at checkout, as we cannot make changes once an order has been processed.
Unauthorized Returns
Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted and will not be refunded.
- DTF Care Disclaimer -
Our apparel is printed using Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers and heat-pressed in small batches. Proper care is essential to maintain the look and longevity of your garment.
To help your item wear well over time, we recommend the following:
- Wash garments inside out
- Use cold water only
- Wash on a gentle cycle
- Do NOT bleach and avoid fabric softeners
- Tumble dry on low heat or hang to dry
- Do not iron directly on the printed design
- Do not dry clean
Important Care Notes
- Normal wear over time, including minor cracking, fading, or softening of the print, is expected and does not indicate a defect.
- Damage caused by improper care, excessive heat, harsh detergents, or misuse is not eligible for replacement, refund, or exchange.
- Red Clay Dahlias cannot guarantee print longevity if care instructions are not followed.
